About APAC


APAC is made up of 24 Administrative Professional members and 2 ex-officio members. Council members represent a variety of areas including system-wide academic and managerial departments from Everett, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, and Extension offices statewide.

Council members are appointed in the spring and serve a three-year term beginning in July. There are also 4 alternate members that serve one-year terms beginning in July.

Professional Development


DEI Workshop graphic The DEI Hiring Practices Workshop introduces departments and colleges to new ways of approaching the hiring process to increase equity-minded outcomes and provides tools for prioritizing cultural competence, knowledge, and skills in the candidates they attract.

APAC consists of seven (7) committees dedicated to carrying out the work and mission of the APAC Council for the 2021- 2022 year.
