Actually\, over ninety percent of all face-to-face or face-to-computer conversations derive from nonverbal clues. The body’s silent messages reveal much more information than the spoken word does. Conveying true feelings and attitudes\, both on virtual conversations and from 6-feet away\, is of utmost importance. \nSince our body language\, the most crucial and sound part of our personality\, “speaks the loudest\,” it is imperative that we learn how to apply appropriate and deliberate nonverbal gestures that display confidence\, exude trust and create a sense of well-being during virtual calls. Social distancing conditions intensify uncertainty and fuel anxiety; every aspect of our role as business leaders is now magnified and complicated. Learn to pivot your approach\, reset expectations and implement new methods of “presenting yourself” during virtual conversations and social distancing conditions. \nBody language expert Jan Hargrave teaches you the ways in which your body communicates to the world around you. As the nation’s leading behavioral authority\, Jan provides you with the nonverbal behaviors/practices that exude trust and build true connections during virtual conversations. Learn to employ convincing\, sincere nonverbal behaviors and gain knowledge on how to read the “hidden messages” of everyone around you. Discover how to: \n• Communicate your ideas impressively and powerfully during virtual conversations.\n• Learn the fundamentals of nonverbal intelligence (NI).\n• Put the comfort/discomfort paradigm to work.\n• Employ the “TRIPLE-THREAT-Communication Method” by effectively positioning your eyes\, hands and posture during Zoom calls.\n• Understand the facial expressions of emotion (interest\, curiosity\, attention) through “reading” facial expressions. Master the unique 7 Universal Basic Facial Expressions: Anger; Contempt; Happiness; Sadness; Fear; Surprise; and Disgust. www.greatergood.berkeley.edu/quizzes/ei_quiz/take_quiz\n• Detect liars: read the “micro-expressions” of deception during virtual conversations.\n• Decipher quick ways to sharpen rapport and likeability through mirroring and matching.\n• Understand Abraham Maslow’s Theory of Needs and appreciate why developing “a sense of belonging” is important during virtual conversations or 6-feet away.\n\n\n\n\nAbout Jan Hargrave \nBody language expert Jan Latiolais Hargrave teaches you the ways in which your body communicates to the world around you.  As the nation’s leading behavioral authority and body language expert\, Ms. Hargrave provides you with the skills you need to “read” your family\, your associates\, your customers\, in fact\, everyone around you.  Jan is the author of Let Me See Your Body Talk\, Freeway of Love\, Judge the Jury\, Strictly Business Body Language\,  Poker Face and a contributing author to Diversity and Inclusion in Quality Patient Care\, 2nd ed. Jan describes the “hidden messages” you use in your everyday life and shows you how to stop the lies and uncover the truth—in any conversation or situation. \nWorking with thousands in the field of personal growth and self-expression as a consultant and corporate trainer for the past 15 years\, Jan Hargrave continues to inspire may of today’s leading corporations such as Merrill Lynch\, Starbucks\, ESPN\, Chase Manhattan Bank\, NASA\, Bank of America\, IBM\, Blue Cross Blue Shield\, The Boeing Corporation\, MARS Chocolate\, Johns Hopkins Space Telescope Institute\, MD Anderson Cancer Center\, BlackRock Investments and the Tony Robbins Leadership Academy. Jan consulted on the body language of President Bill Clinton during his grand jury testimony in 1998 and has continued her political behavioral analysis through to her recent study and reporting of President Donald Trump. As a media guest\, she relays information concerning the delicate details of the political figure’s leadership style\, thought processes\, and decision-making abilities. \nThe Cajun French Ms. Hargrave was born to French-Acadian parents in the unique “Joie de Vivre” (Joy of Life) culture of southwest Louisiana and as a result\, sprinkles her captivating presentations with entertaining Ragin’ Cajun folkloric tales.
